Khalid Mahmood

Khalid Mahmood has been CEO of Getz Pharma since its inception. He led the company from a near zero base in 1995 to become the largest pharmaceutical company and exporter of pharmaceuticals from Pakistan. Getz Pharma is the only pharmaceutical company in the country accredited by The World Health Organization Geneva as well as by PIC/S.

  • Getz Pharma is also the largest taxpayer in the pharmaceutical sector, and the 33rd largest taxpayer in Pakistan
  • The State Bank of Pakistan ranks Getz Pharma as the nation's 54th largest exporter

Ravi Mahmood

Ravi graduated from Barnard College, Columbia University, where she was at the forefront of cutting-edge research on child development and neural pathways in the developing brain. She worked at the Barnard College Center for Toddler Development, before starting her career at a market research firm in New York City. She supported consulting firms, private equity firms, and hedge funds on corporate strategy cases, market entry research, and due diligence and managed the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) client portfolio during her time there.

Muhammed Amin

Muhammed Amin has over 35 years of experience in FMCG at C/Executive levels. He is a Chartered Accountant by education but most of his career has been in sales and marketing. He was Director of Sales of Gillette Pakistan till 1997, General Manager and CEO of Gillette Pakistan from 1997 to 2000, and Regional Business Director of Gillette Middle East and Africa till 2003. In 2004, he became CEO of Cadbury Pakistan, which grew from a Rs.300M business to a Rs.9B business by 2014 under his stewardship.

In 2015, he established Sunridge Foods and introduced the first national flour brand in 2017. In the next three years, Sunridge became the market leader in the whole wheat flour category and achieved the highest distribution for any flour brand.

Ather Kamal

Ather Kamal is a highly seasoned Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality professional with 24+ years of experience with Fortune 500 multinationals. He has served as a part of leadership teams within the FMCG, Packaging, and Food industries. Ather has implemented strategic initiatives to achieve competitive differentiation through leading the availability and delivery of products while ensuring enterprise cost reduction and in-house expertise development.

Ather’s diverse background experience includes Packaging Development, Quality Assurance, Sales and Operational Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Warehousing, and more.

Danish Ghani

Danish is a well-rounded commercial leader with 15+ years of experience gained from working and leading at Fortune 500s like Nestle, Maersk, and others. He is an IBA graduate with diversified industry experience across FMCG, food, manufacturing and service industry in Pakistan / UAE. He has worked in marketing, trade marketing, sales, and business development while having full P&L responsibility. He has also managed distributions for various FMCG organizations.

  • Worked on international multimillion-dollar brands like Maggi, Nido, Kit Kat, and Fine

Danish has launched new companies & brands. He is also experienced in building teams and future leaders.

Zoya Ahmad

Zoya Ahmad is an advertising and marketing professional who started her career at Fly Communications, a boutique ad agency in New York, as an Account Manager where she managed campaigns for several clients including Conde Nast and Scholastic. She then joined Time Inc. in New York as a Chief of Staff, where she managed the international division's marketing efforts for TIME Magazine, Fortune, and its other publications in EMEA and Asia.

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing - Babson College
  • Worked on global multi-layer marketing plans and sponsored events for clients including Singapore Airlines, Rolex, and more

Ali Akbar

Ali Akbar has over 18 years of diverse experience in the fields of internal audit, risk and compliance, and various management consulting assignments serving a range of clients and industries in the Government, Public and Private sector, as well as the Financial Services sector. He successfully led the EY Pakistan Karachi office with a team of 18 dedicated internal audit and consulting professionals.

During his time at EY, he implemented major internal audit transformation and internal audit quality assurance review programs in development and non-development sector clients including leading commercial banks, power, utilities, and oil marketing companies, and a top medical university hospital in Pakistan.
